CHEST With your child’s arms down, slide a measuring tape under the arms and measure around the widest part of the chest and back.

HEIGHT Have your child stand against a wall with her feet together against a wall. (No shoes or tippy toes!) Measure from the top of the head to the floor.

This jacket was surprisingly soft and very comfortable. I'd suggest sizing up so you can get more use out it.
